I bought this in December 2020 for my 2 kayaks. I chose this one because it comes with two and is cheaper than many options that only come with one. Spring. You get what you pay for. I have a tandem kayak and a solo kayak. When I put the tandem on the luggage rack, it hardly holds up. The kayak bends the pole so it looks like it's about to break. Also, I've had it on my car for less than a month and it's already rusting. Assembly is also a pain. The hardware is cheap and barely attaches to the roof rack of my Jeep Cherokee. Spend a few bucks more and buy a sturdier kayak carrier. I wouldn't trust that on the street. I only use it to walk about 200 meters in my area before starting.
