This brush cleaner is very, very good. Cleans all my brushes perfectly. I use watercolor, gouache, acrylic and oil paints and this brush cleaner cleans the brushes I use for all of these mediums. I even use it to clean my makeup brushes. It cleans and cares for my brushes. I mainly use synthetic brushes as they do not harm animals. Some of my Winsor and Newton Series 7 brushes are colonial and expensive. I want these brushes to be in good condition so I can use them for a long time. This brush cleaner does a great job cleaning my synthetic brushes and my fancy Colin Sable watercolor brushes while being gentle on them. I like this brush cleaner much more than other brush cleaners I have used. I'm always looking for the best brush cleaner and I think I've found the best one.
