The reason I tried this product is probably not new to those reading these reviews. Dry, itchy, flaky scalp. It happens to me every winter. However, this product has backfired on me. My scalp seemed drier, itchy and very, very flaky. A small problem with white flakes turned into a big one. Yuk. Maybe I'm allergic to it. Who knows. It took a few uses for it to get really bad and then I realized what was going on. I applied moisturizer to the flaky patches on my scalp and they healed overnight. I decided that the solution for me was to just wash my hair less often with whatever shampoo. I have naturally dry hair and this helps to build up the natural oils. Try it if you have dry hair, it might work for you. I chose the 3 star option because the quality of the product is ok. It's just not useful to me. You can consider my experience when deciding if this is a good buy for you.
