This is a good price for the amount of yarn you get and there are many colors to complement any sewing project. However, as a reviewer previously wrote, the thread sometimes breaks when used in a sewing machine. I thought it might be the tension settings on the machine or using the wrong thread or needle, but unfortunately ALL of these reasons are wrong. I was enlightened when something caught my attention as the thread was moving across the top of my machine the other day: The reason the threads break is because each spool is NOT a continuous length! Each spool is made up of many lengths of thread tied together and the thread will break as the knot goes through the needle and into the fabric as you sew! Now I see the reason for the pricing.
