Just received the item and it's working great so far! Looks very solid, smaller than I expected (not that I thought too much about the size) and a nice looking unit. I need it to run the fans in my RV when I'm not running the generator. So far it works great. Also used it tonight to power up a dead battery laptop - again no problem. We will use it for small items of a similar nature. I like the power button on the back - so you don't have to remove it from the lighter if you don't want to. I can't speak to maximum performance (and won't max it out) or durability. for now. However, it looks and feels like it's going to continue.
