Too smart for her own good.

Pros: • Comfortable enough to wear all day • Battery lasts several days • Solid build quality • Intuitive hardware controls • Great ANC (while running) • Good sound quality Poor: • Listening modes and moments can only be controlled via mobile app (no desktop app, no response to hardware listening mode button when only connected to computer) • App doesn't recognize headphones half the time, requires restarting one or the other or both • Why is listening mode a thing, and Why is it the default when using the microphone? I answered the call at the coffee shop and instead of hearing the ringing, I heard the espresso machine and the surrounding screams in my ears. Failed to upgrade to ANC because I was using my computer. I had to hang up and redial the number from the phone. • Very buggy when multiple devices were connected - changing listening mode, randomly pausing playback, skipping • Ear detection works about 50% of the time (seems like a useless feature anyway, just press pause). )• SmartSound needs location data to work• Buzzed once while listening and restarted - still don't know why Bottom line: I wish I could have ANC on all my devices all the time with these headphones and never have to open the app again. I'm sure someone would appreciate all of these software bells and whistles, but in my experience they just get in the way of using reliable hardware.

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Expensive
