I bought this device yesterday and was unable to set it up in any way. The menu buttons wouldn't change anything. I went back to the store and changed the block and the same thing happens. After 2 hours on the phone with useless HP service I was told it must be a hardware issue and they offered to send me another unit. But here's the kicker, it could have been a RECOVERED BLOCK, NOT! NEW? They would not guarantee me that the replacement would be brand new. After spending $120 of my hard-earned dollars, I'd be damned if I did. They were supposed to call me back today with a decision, but they didn't. no Surprise, I don't know how long this has been going on, but it's been happening since May 22, 2011. That these are 2 brand new devices isn't bad luck, it's a problem. I bought these units from a large electronics store here in Florida, so I know they didn't sort of fall off the truck. I've seen other reviews where people have mentioned that changing the contrast etc can be an issue, but I can't change anything on mine. SO CAREFUL!
