Works well, has temperature alarm

This review is for the Oria fridge thermometer with 2 wireless sensors. The sensors are powered by 2 AA batteries while the main unit is powered by 3 AAA batteries. I have no idea about the battery life. The only thing I can say is that the sensors send data back to the main unit about every 30 seconds. So they're not constantly communicating, which means the batteries should last a while. Only time will tell but I bought a couple of batteries right here for this purpose. They were very easy to set up. I just put the batteries in and put one sensor in the freezer and hung the other sensor in the fridge with the included suction cup. I'm a little worried about the suction cup holding up over time, but so far it's worked well. I've had them for a little over a week now. Temperatures are as expected which is nice to see. At some point in the past I thought my fridge wasn't cooling like it should. This unit proved otherwise, it usually stays around 39 degrees which is fine by me. So you can observe temperature fluctuations caused by people opening doors and eating with their eyes. You can select an alarm for each sensor and turn it on and off individually. You will see the upper temperature limit and when that limit is reached an audible alarm will sound to notify you of a possible problem. That's a great idea. When the fridge breaks, you never know until it's too late to store groceries. In this case, you will get a signal that the problem will appear much earlier. My only complaint about this thing is the amount of batteries you need for it. If they last quite a long time, then it's not that much of a problem for me. I will update this review if it doesn't take a reasonable amount of time.
