It holds parts well, doesn't pull on components or scratch the circuit board.
Excellent quality as expected from Hakko. Ideal for mechanically holding parts with through holes for wave soldering or complex parts that can only be soldered from below. The tool's jaws are a bit thicker than I expected (0.2 inch), but this makes for a solid cut. Feels solid.
