Cut and clinch nipper bends and cuts leads up to 18 gauge (1mm). Bends lead to 30 degrees before cutting, keeping parts in place before soldering. Heat-treated carbon steel construction provides durability and long life. Precision-ground holes and surfaces provide smooth movement, and spring returns tool to open position to reduce operator fatigue. ESD-safe black dissipative handles eliminate electrostatic build-up, dolphin-style nonslip hand grips provide comfort and control, curved fore-edge protects hands from cutting surfaces, and Parkerized surfaces prevent glare and increase corrosion resistance.

Great little tool!

Great little gadget for those who assemble a lot of electronic kits/projects. Too bad I didn't know that many years ago. The cut and bend function works well and the parts are held in place when the board is rotated. vicinity.

It holds parts well, doesn't pull on components or scratch the circuit board.

Excellent quality as expected from Hakko. Ideal for mechanically holding parts with through holes for wave soldering or complex parts that can only be soldered from below. The tool's jaws are a bit thicker than I expected (0.2 inch), but this makes for a solid cut. Feels solid.

Useful for hobby and production line!

This tool is AMAZING for soldering through holes. I also can't find any other source cheaper than Revain. I even spent a day at the Chinese electronics market looking for copies to buy for some friends. There are no fakes available. Will definitely buy another one if I lose the one I have.
