Not all screws are created equal
When I installed my new 60" Samsung TV, the wall mount bracket had a matching screw pattern, but the screws themselves were too small. After some research into which screws would actually work, I was able to locate the screw size required online. I took a gamble on what length to order but these turned out to be perfect. and now my new tv mounts for a few bucks and i don't have to buy a new wall mount kit.
