I didn't even think about it when I ordered and installed them. I'm at -25 degrees and my TPMS has tripped and I can't turn off any of the four. I tried heating it and prying it off with pliers and now the stem is cracked and leaking. Now I have to buy a new TPMS for $$$$. You look good? Yes. But the $5 cost now turns into a few hundred dollar fix to take care of all 4 tires. Galvanic corrosion occurs on two different metals, so ANY aluminum caps have the same effect. Stick to plastic. Lesson learned, wallet empty
