I found a similar mop a few years ago. It is a cotton yarn that holds water and detergent well. I marked one each for the sink, shower and toilet. The cotton yarn on the mop got ugly pretty quickly, and when I saw the synthetic yarn I decided to give it a try, hoping the yarn didn't get "dirty" (the technical term). After a few uses, the yarn is still beautiful and knows what is beautiful. HOWEVER, on my previous mops, the yarn completely surrounded the handle, while on this mop, the handle is attached to one side of the ball of yarn. This presents a problem when attempting to clear the toilet drain. The yarn faces up so the underside doesn't get scratched. You can't just turn it over because the handle hits the sides of the toilet. A few other issues are the strands don't hold water and detergent, PLUS some strands come off the head after only 4 or 5 uses. Bottom Line: The mop is comfortable, but a few tweaks make it a lot more comfortable.
