The motherboard on my main PC has failed. Even though I had backups, and in some cases backups of my backups, I found that some files were still on the disk. This little device quickly connected the hard drive and my laptop and gave me access to those files. It now sits next to my new computer, which acts as a video drive. Works without problems.
