Review on πŸ”₯ Sparco 008231NR Universal Sprint 2014 Seat in Black by Robert Fulce

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Signature seat with a good price-performance ratio.

I have the right place as shown in the picture - problems reported by others seem to have been resolved. Very happy with the combination of lightness, comfort and seat support. I couldn't believe how light it was in the box when it arrived - and even with the glides and floor bracket it's still a lot lighter than any OEM seat. Very nice fit, not too straight, not too reclined - this is of course important as there is no adjustment. Good lateral support in the hips, thighs and shoulders. Enough padding so that the seat does not feel uncomfortable. I have a 34" waist, the fit is just right. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone anymore. Of course, getting in and out of this seat isn't as easy as the low-back seats, but that's to be expected. I can't comment on the durability of the seat as I've only used it for a week. The fabric will hold dust and small debris, but nothing that a soft bristle brush and vacuum won't remove. As mentioned elsewhere it is recommended that this seat requires a mounting system, either glides and floor mounts or side mounts and mounting bolts, sold separately. Overall, this is great value for money and a great entry-level racing seat. hp I should also mention that I installed it on a Toyota Mr2 Spyder which is a very small car and had absolutely no fit issues. Also the height of the seat with the glides and the bracket underneath was perfect. The top of the backrest is the same as the original seat, and the seat itself is slightly lower.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Vulgarity
