SUMMARY: This item works as expected. Using the USB 3.0 Type B port for the first time was really difficult. I took this item with me to keep in my laptop or travel bag. It's really small but solves the problem of connecting a Type-B device to my laptop's USB Type-C port. As I write this review, I am using my wireless mouse connected to a USB dongle plugged into this adapter. Initial installation of the USB mouse dongle on this adapter was oddly tight (although I think that's better than a too loose fit!). The braided nylon cord has no flaws. I like that this adapter has an attached bracket so it can plug into a USB Type-C port or a Micro USB port, although I'm not sure if I need the Micro USB option. My laptop only has Type-C ports. I like that it's a lot smaller than all the USB Type-C hubs I own, which have more ports but are bulkier than this little adapter. Overall, this adapter works as expected. and solves my problem with old USB devices with my new laptop. Featured!
