Review on 🚪 Set of 2 Rear Hatch Trunk Liftgate Tailgate Shocks for 2003-2008 Honda Pilot - Struts for Tailgate Lift Supports by Frank Harwood

I have a 2007 pilot. This product is very easy to install. I took my time and it was about 5 minutes per side. I read another reviewer's idea of putting a ladder under the hatch to hold the door fully open. (Thanks for that tip!) I used an adjustable ladder under the hatch with leather work gloves to protect it from scratches. Using a flat head screwdriver, gently pry up the old clips holding the struts in place and remove the end of the strut from the ball on the body. Installation is the reverse of removal, lift the clamp slightly and fit the end onto the ball, then close the clamp. I didn't follow the instructions and made them one at a time as they were the same size as the old ones.
