so slide locks are a pain. When my cat leaves, I lock her up so other cats can't come out, but I open her up so she can come back in. It is in order. But if it comes back, it's a problem. First, the magnet keeps falling and the door will eventually open, defeating the purpose. I glued it. As soon as he comes back I lock him on both sides so that everyone is in the yard for now. Ouch. I forgot to say that this is connected to my fence outside so my black cat can still go into the neighbor's yard and chase voles and moles so they don't destroy my yard. And now the door stays OPEN FOR ALL KITTENS! I've almost lost my younger cat a couple of times and gotten badly bitten by her when she came out and caught the rabbit and I got scared and tried to pull her back over the fence away from him. Oh, and away from my black cat who I think stole the rabbit :) Remember I added a double layer of netting on top of my fence to make a cat fence so cats don't jump out so this is REQUIRED. Work! My cats love going into the garden and chasing after moths and voles that come into the garden. So I will never buy again. SHIT.
