I love these drying balls! Our dryer is next to the kitchen and my husband was always annoyed when I had a few plastic balls in the dryer because they were so loud that they lost their little plastic tips with the wash. They are very quiet, with a slight thump from time to time. They make clothes and towels fluffier and dry faster. If you have a large ceiling they get in and don't move much but the plastic ceilings did the same. I put some lavender oil on a few of them and the linens smelled great, just don't use too much or it might get on your clothes. They picked up some lint from the fluffy blue comforter so I used a lint roller and it went straight away. They're a little bigger than a baseball. If you're giving them away to a few family members for Christmas, it's hard to bring yourself to buy such things, but then in the long run you'll be glad you did. I hope you liked my review. Jenny UPDATE it's been almost 2 years now and I keep getting more just because I lost a few (or one of the kids brought them home with their underwear!) I'm still very happy with them. They've gotten a bit lighter but that's it, I like to use them all together, I really can't hear them, found some old plastic ones I had a while ago and tried them and they were so loud I could use them took out immediately. . Really helps lint and dry clothes better, don't wash without them!
