Works for diesel fuel.
I emailed the manufacturer with a question: Can this be used on a diesel fuel line? They responded promptly that it can. I haven't installed it yet but it turns smoothly and should fit nicely in my retrofit situation. I like that it's made of 316 ss alloy for maximum corrosion resistance in the marine environment.

- I'm amazed how heavy duty this valve is, especially for the price.
- Pipe threads should tighten at 3 to 5 revolutions.The valve was 5 revolutions, barley acceptable.
