Description of DERNORD Stainless Steel Mini Ball Valve NPT Thread Female (1/2" Female&Female)

NPT Female threads for connecting to male threaded pipe fittings. SUS316 body and ball for extra strength and corrosion resistance. Inline valve for connecting two pipes going in the same direction with Double-seal system. Heavy duty stainless handles to increase service life, fast 1/4 turn open or closed operation. Standard port flow for smaller valve size, each valve individually tested for maximum safety about Water, Oil, and Gas(no freezing)

Works for diesel fuel.

I emailed the manufacturer with a question: Can this be used on a diesel fuel line? They responded promptly that it can. I haven't installed it yet but it turns smoothly and should fit nicely in my retrofit situation. I like that it's made of 316 ss alloy for maximum corrosion resistance in the marine environment.

  • I'm amazed how heavy duty this valve is, especially for the price.
Cons
  • Pipe threads should tighten at 3 to 5 revolutions.The valve was 5 revolutions, barley acceptable.

Works as expected for my opinion

Bought this for use in beer bottling and it is the main valve in my bottling stand. Valve movement is smooth and easy, and no leaking that I’ve seen. Easy to clean, and pairs easily with the stainless tubing bards I fitted to it.

Nicer than it needed to be.

I have a vehicle that required a TSB update to the PCV system. The updated system did indeed remove more blowby from the engine, but was also pulling far too much vaporized oil and filling the catch can in about 50mi. Since manufacturing of this vehicle ceased shortly after the TSB release, I am assuming it was never looked at again otherwise mother Mopar would have offered yet another TSB.I fit this valve in to the vacuum side of the system to throttle some of that vacuum back for a happy…

Stainless ball valve arrived quickly and works great.

I used this valve as a shutoff valve on an air tank and it is very well made and holds 150 psi pressure very well. The fit and finish is excellent.

  • Good price heavy duty, got quickly..also work as expected used om my ac hoses

  • All 4 valves that I purchased leak water through the lever screw

A great s/s valve at a great price.

Ordered the 1/2" stainless steel 306 valve for durability, no rust. Some s/s products such as 301, 303 are not that good as they will eventuallyRust. The 306 however, is a better product but is more expensive. I looked at a lot of places and finally found what I was looking for with the Dernord ball valve. I am using mine for my upgrade of my outside pool shower as the old gate valve had become corroded and rusty. I am very satisfied with the looks, installation and the price of the Dernord

STAINLESS is the way to go !

Great stainless ball valve ! i used it in my shower to divert water from over head oversize shower head to handheld shower head, works great. changed out ball valve made from less quality materials that rotted away

No Leaks. Good Valve

I want to correct my earlier review. This valve does NOT leak.After some investigation, traced the problem to an NPT connection where I had forgotten to use teflon tape.More hurry - less speed . . .
