Review on Metra 99 9401 Installation 2004 2006 Freelander by James Wonsley

Bought for a double din setup. Apparently this is the only part the audio companies use, I was told to trim the middle part. This part worked fine but the mounting holes didn't quite line up, had to be drilled to fit. Also, it was a lot bigger than the Pioneer deck I bought, so I had to take the standard unit's brackets and kind of press on it. There wasn't enough equipment. I had to install some panels to fill in the gaps. I don't understand why all these parts are standard but don't fit.
