I looked at a lot of watches before deciding on this one. I've read reviews that didn't like the 24 hour format but that doesn't bother me. I really like the small size which allowed me to place it where I can see it but not in my field of view. I don't recommend setting it high as it's too bright at night. My biggest downside is that it doesn't come with a template or instructions. If you're not handy and don't have tools, this watch isn't for you. Still, at just $10 including the backup battery, it's a great deal. You need access to a hidden button to set the time. So keep that in mind when installing. Setting the time is easy. Press and hold the button for 5 seconds and the hour digits will flash. Each short press advances the hour by one. To get to the minutes, just repeat the process. It also allows you to set the seconds, but they are not displayed. When done, press and hold for 5 seconds until the display stops flashing. I connected the red wire to the battery +12V constant wire so the display is always on. If you don't want them to keep burning you can plug them into a switched cord as the backup battery will keep time but I don't know how long it will last. Hopefully the watch will last for years but I will post an update if it ever breaks.
