So I'm going on a trip and I need to attend a conference call. I did a little research to find a good quality headphone/mic combo (since I use the Blue Yeti USB mic that sits on my desk at home). I didn't want to break a bank, and I wanted something with great sound quality on the mic. The quality of the headphones didn't really bother me. Anyway, that's exactly what I have with the Jabra Evolve 40 headphones. I watched a YouTube video that showed how well they cancel out ambient noise (really do a great job) and the call quality is pretty damn good. Not the quality of a Blue Yeti speaker, but it picks up voice well and has good range. To be honest the headphones are better than I expected. Think high-end headphones, but they're overhead. As mentioned in other reviews, they don't cancel out noise at all. Although I don't mind at all. Just turn up the volume and don't worry. They're not that comfortable either. However, what is more important to me is that the microphone quality is good and helps to reduce the level of ambient noise. This is the perfect package to achieve that goal while still being mobile. If you have any questions, please leave a comment. Thanks very much!
