Not the best: phone accessories

This article is great for people like me who work from home and care about what people on the other side are hearing. No one can tell I'm working from home using this. I can attend online meetings through a USB connection and conference calls through my cell phone. I have a young daughter who makes a lot of noise but as long as I close the door no one notices. Update: The mic picks up your breath, which is annoying. Good microphone, but there are better options. My daily driver is a Plantronics

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

USB adapter failure rate is 100% within two years (5 out of 5)

If it were reliable this product would be great but 80% failure within the first two years is terrible. Obviously they have a serious design or manufacturing defect. Having bought five of these in about 6 months it's not just a bad batch. Otherwise the headphones are pretty good and it's great to have a separate USB adapter that you can take the headphones off of and plug into your phone. Sound quality and wearing comfort are very good, background noise is picked up quite strongly. But there's…

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • Negligible maintainability

I've been using USB headsets every day at work and at home for many years. I've never had an outage. I bought this device and plugged it into my computer instead of the old USB headset. He died about two weeks later. Revain was really great at delivering the replacement headset the next day. The new headset lasted almost three weeks. The device consists of two components: a headset with a microphone that uses a standard 4-wire mini-plug, and a base that contains a mini-plug and cable that plugs

  • Pleasant
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Here's what you need to know

So I'm going on a trip and I need to attend a conference call. I did a little research to find a good quality headphone/mic combo (since I use the Blue Yeti USB mic that sits on my desk at home). I didn't want to break a bank, and I wanted something with great sound quality on the mic. The quality of the headphones didn't really bother me. Anyway, that's exactly what I have with the Jabra Evolve 40 headphones. I watched a YouTube video that showed how well they cancel out ambient noise (really…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • There's nothing here

Uh, go. The best in accessories and consumables

While the headset is okay for a cheap design, there are a few notable issues.1. The key is quite heavy, which is why it pulls on one ear. It was a lot lighter on my previous model.2. The buttons are not tactile like my previous Jabra. You must physically look at the keys each time, otherwise you risk pressing the wrong key.3. The microphone can only be positioned up and down, you cannot bend it further away from your face.4. Dim light is very difficult to see. The sound on/off signal is…

  • GOLS certified
