I ordered this multimeter to hook up to a bike alternator so I can monitor the output when I press the pedal. Another reviewer wrote that it could be used to measure the power output of solar panels by connecting the panel to the input wires and the battery to the load terminals, and I did that too. The meter is really simple and I like that it stores the accumulated Wh readings even when it's not plugged in. I have not attempted to measure the accuracy of the readings, but they appear to be fine in my device. I set the voltage alarm to trigger when the output gets too high, which is a nice feature on a really variable power supply. It looks like there is no audible alarm and the backlight is flashing on and off. All in all it's a good counter and I hope it holds up decently for me.
