Good looking lightweight hooded parka that I think is best suited for non-northern climates and/or fall/spring conditions. The hood feature is probably best for keeping the rain out. The jacket has an inside pocket (mesh) and two outside pockets. The latter are equipped with plastic zippers, which can become a problem if you use them frequently. Another positive feature is the sleeve extensions, which are long enough to cover small arms in windy conditions. All in all, this is an eye-catching piece of clothing with colors that most children should love. If you buy this jacket, make it roomy enough to wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath to increase its usefulness in cold weather.
