Review on 🐕❌ Premium Virbac Preventic Tick Collar - Large Dog, 25" - Single Collar to Safeguard against Ticks by Kristina Kajer

They were recommended to me by my breeder when my dog had a small problem with mites (deemodectic mites). I believe this collar definitely helped get rid of her, although I'm just guessing as she also underwent another treatment. However, my vet agreed that anything that can kill ticks can kill ticks. I now use it as my regular tick product and am very happy with it. I'm not a big fan of liquids that you put on your dog's coat because they get very messy, you can see where you put them and when you bathe your dog I suspect they stop working. I find the collar very comfortable because it is dry and not dirty and you can remove it if you want to bathe your dog, go swimming or something similar. Works as it's supposed to and I've never found a tick on my dog even when he's walking in the mountains/woods (we live in Idaho).
