Works perfectly. No ticks! Helps with ticks!

They were recommended to me by my breeder when my dog had a small problem with mites (deemodectic mites). I believe this collar definitely helped get rid of her, although I'm just guessing as she also underwent another treatment. However, my vet agreed that anything that can kill ticks can kill ticks. I now use it as my regular tick product and am very happy with it. I'm not a big fan of liquids that you put on your dog's coat because they get very messy, you can see where you put them and when

Good protection but not a silver bullet

These tick collars seem to work pretty well, but they're definitely not a panacea just for minimizing tick numbers on your dog. We have two dogs and live in a rather rural area that gets infested with mites, especially from April to August. This tick collar is one of the layers of protection we use on our puppies. We also treat our dogs monthly with Advantage Flea/Tick/Heartworm but we have found that without a tick collar they have a few mites around the collar and a few mites on their tummy…

This is an excellent mite control product that I've been using for several years and it performs better than anything . Still I tried. I have two dogs that have 24/7 access to the woods around my house and they often come home with ticks. But nothing else! We almost never see ticks implanted in them (sometimes they crawl through their fur when they come straight out of the woods but easy to spot and remove at this point) and I never see swollen blood mites in my home.My dogs sometimes play…

collars work. Type

We live on a remote farm surrounded by woods in 6,000 acres of swamp and woods not that our puppies roam everywhere. But they walk in the woods, swim in streams and ditches, stomp through swamps, and run across grassy acres. And the mite problem was constant, even with the best topical we could use. We are thrilled and will not miss another summer without collars. Edit: The day after I wrote this review, I removed a dozen mites from my puppies' heads and necks. They had pincers on their chests…

ATTENTION! After 4 days this collar seems to have started killing the ticks on my Bloodhound puppy. BUT this morning I had to take my cat to the vet for emergency care for collar poisoning. The cat didn't touch the collar, but yesterday she slept on the same couch with the puppy. This morning the cat was in pretty bad shape. He's still at the vet on IVs and meds to counteract the chemicals in that collar. Thank God I caught him in time for them to save him. The vet still has the box with the…
