Works but not required for my application
The tool is fine and works as intended, but I probably didn't need it and could have caused my problem. I used it to install the fuel pump on my Odyssey 06. Using a tool and a torque wrench, the snap ring broke a week after installation. I don't know if the ring was defective or if the tool was overtightened, but I installed the old ring by hand and had no problems. My original ring also came off by hand, so I didn't really need a tool.
