Weight Issue - Accessories and Supplies

I originally bought these for a top install and I installed them every 3 feet. Let them sit for 24 hours for the glue to work but when I installed the fasteners they all fell off within 48 hours. I'm in Florida and it was very hot so I don't think they are suitable for that environment.
