Always difficult to see in a picture so I was hesitant to order, I couldn't find anything similar here at home so I ordered them. After receiving them and examining them carefully, they will work perfectly for what I wanted them for. I'm planning to make my wife a duvet hanger so she can hang her quilts and get a better idea of how it's going, this fits the bill perfectly. I also like the fact that they drilled a hole in them on one side as it will make my project easier for them. Check them out, they have many different uses, especially in small projects. Oh yes, 2 inches is the length of the clip, not the hole. The hole is a little less than 2.5 cm, but the spring feels very strong.
