Plain little clips

For years we have used clothespins as "chip clips" to seal partially used bags of frozen vegetables, open bags of flour, and so on. Well I've had several of these clips in a great value portable tool set that I was given as a gift and we started using them for the same purpose because they are shorter than clothespins, have the same mouth size but a much stronger grip to have. Not very strong

Cheap, flimsy, flimsy and made of tinfoil. I was going to throw them straight into the bin but then thought I could use them in the kitchen to seal coffee bags and such. If you want to use these clamps for light work or hobbies, save your money. Foldable paperclips, sold at office supply stores and used to secure papers and documents, are a better alternative and cost several times less, although they aren't very strong either. There has to be a better choice, maybe 1" wide x 4" long clamps…

Always difficult to see in a picture so I was hesitant to order, I couldn't find anything similar here at home so I ordered them. After receiving them and examining them carefully, they will work perfectly for what I wanted them for. I'm planning to make my wife a duvet hanger so she can hang her quilts and get a better idea of how it's going, this fits the bill perfectly.
