It's not working properly
I just wanted to turn on the lamp when the temperature dropped to freezing. But not this device. The contacts appear to close when the room temperature drops a few degrees below ambient. I can't imagine how useful that would be. It closes well before set point is reached, and since I'm using a well pump heat lamp, the only thing I can get from it is a higher electric bill.
