As mentioned, this item provides an easy way to provide a Bluetooth wireless connection, but... it does NOT automatically connect to one paired device upon your return I tried several tweaks to figure out how it works but couldn't find a solution in the end. First I tried the easy way to pair, connect and ride successfully. Unfortunately, when I reach my destination and get back to my car, it can't reconnect unless I take it out of the glove box, then turn it off, then turn it back on. I plugged it in to charge). I plugged in the USB charging cable for the remote, connected it to the device and hoped that when the car started up that would be the signal to wake up the device. But that's not the case. I still had to manually turn it off with a slide switch on the side and then it would automatically reconnect and then connect to audio. Very disappointed that this feature is not made available.
