It works and sounds great but I bought it to connect my phone wirelessly. Although I can use it without being physically connected to my phone, it turns off the power. So the next time I want to use it, I'll have to reach for my stereo where it's plugged in to turn it back on before I can use Bluetooth from my phone. It defeats the purpose of being able to connect remotely.

I attached this to my headphones with double sided tape and converted them to bluetooth. I've been using it for several hours here and there for several weeks and still need to charge it after the initial charge. Works great and I recommend it as a hassle-free way to convert wired headphones to wireless. Don't know if there's a lag like there would be when using it on a TV, but for headphones it couldn't get any better for twice the price. I bet this works great for adding Bluetooth to your car

Works, connection problem as described by some is not that annoying, I gave it 3 stars because the sound quality is not very good. Especially when there is a lot of bass in the music, this distorts the sound. I'm interested in audio engineering and that probably worries me more than others, but I chose this one because it has HiFi in the name. Updated the original review: This item has finally stopped working properly. Apparently there is an internal problem that cannot be solved. The device has lost connection or bandwidth on the channel carrying vocals. Nothing makes it work properly. I do not recommend this. This element tends to lose its stereo effect by lowering the channel that the vocals are playing on. When it works right, it's great. but if it doesn't, there's nothing I can do to fix the problem.
