This part is not for all Ford Escapes 2005
, Ford has listed two 2005 part numbers for all 2004-2006 Ford Escape vehicles. The Motorcraft BRB31 is listed as 2005 but will not fit the 2005 Ford Escape 3.0L V6 with 2 disc front / 2 drum rear automatic transmission. The other part listed that actually fits this car is the Ford 5L8Z-2002-BA. Installing the BRB31 on this particular model as described above will offset the master cylinder 20 degrees and cause brake fluid to leak.
