I wanted a high-resolution monitor for my MacBook Pro to help with video and photo editing. Until Apple releases their own monitors (which they seem to be working on), this seems like the best option. but you pay a high price. Very happy so far The webcam is better than the MacBookPro (brighter and wider angle) and the speakers are loud. The 5K resolution and 27-inch physical size is a big step up from my previous monitor.
