This is a great tool for quickly cutting and coring pineapples. My kids love pineapples but with just a knife it takes longer than I want to cut them open for them to eat. This tool is easy to use and works well. The metal is a bit thinner but for the price this is a great kitchen tool. The handles detach for easier cleaning, but it's still a bit difficult to clean the interior where the core ends. We've only had it a few weeks and have used it a few times so can't comment on how well it's holding up other than the metal isn't as thick as I'd like but so far so good.
