I saw the video but didn't think it would be that easy. It worked great. I used to cut pineapples with knives all the time. You only have the good parts left. Update: The slicer detached from the core and I couldn't get them to stay back together. I don't know if it was cheap welding or if it was an attempt to hold on, but it didn't hold. I use it weekly so I may have maxed out pineapple.

Love it! I eat pineapple for a week and it made my life easier. It was easy to insert and rotate. I've had shoulder and elbow surgeries so I found it best to rotate the pineapple and core at the same time to put less pressure on my aching arms. too much pineapple in the shell. I simply cut the skins into chunks, scooped out the healthy fruit and added it to the very clean pieces from the slicer.

It works as advertised and is good. It's easy to use and does a pretty decent job. The only problem we have is the kernel extraction part. If you miss it even slightly when you place it, or somehow it gets a slight angle when you use it, half of the rings will have some basic pieces that you need to cut off. This is a great tool for quickly cutting and coring pineapples. My kids love pineapples but with just a knife it takes longer than I want to cut them open for them to eat. This tool is easy to use and works well. The metal is a bit thinner but for the price this is a great kitchen tool.
