Review on Versatile and Convenient: WORKSITE Cordless 3 Position Adjustable Auxiliary by Flavio Scarola

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Take your time, slow and easy!

later I highly recommend that you familiarize yourself with how the trigger works and more importantly how to turn it off before you start! I've used several different angle grinders and got a nice scar on my left index finger from one with a paddle switch that activated when I put it down and its weight triggered it. My finger was cut when I tried to take it off. So now I'm careful with these devices! It has the property of staying on when you pull the trigger closer to the tip. It clicks into place, and to unlock and turn it off you have to pull on the bottom of the trigger to release. I care more about safety than being able to cut an engine block in half and it's about safety. You have to let the blade do its job and not try to rush the job. Hasty work with a cutting wheel is the result of accidents. The blades are Type 1 which for some reason is now Type 41. Security. The protection that comes with it should compel you to use Type 27. Conclusion: Due to some accidents, they relabeled the discs and have new requirements for their use. You must use protection that contains splinters if the wheel breaks. This tool keeps you from pushing too hard and saves you the hassle of buying new wheels. You STILL need to follow safety precautions and inspect cutting wheels before use. If you let them become too thin, even the built-in protection cannot protect them from destruction in the end! I also received a cordless drill from WORKSITE. The battery is only 2.0A but the charger is the same. Both batteries have a test button on the front that lets you see how much time the battery has left in three steps. 3 LEDs are full, 2 are not full and 1 is charging soon. 4 would be better so I could say "Full", "75%", "50%" and "25%", but this is the first time I see them on a battery, and they are a good start! It's nice to be able to conveniently keep the charger in one place and the other in another. And if I plan to use a drill, I can borrow this battery when the drill runs out of battery to finish the work! It's convenient too! I want to point out something here. The included 4.0A battery is heavy enough to connect to the charger and charge, but the 2.0A battery from the drill I received is not. You have to press and snap it into place for it to charge. Turns out you can also push and twist the 4.0A battery. I recommend getting used to it for proper connection and safer charging. I'm not deducting a star for that, but I think it's worth mentioning. It's worth five stars and it's a good deal. Note that the ad says it contains a tool pouch and does not name the pouch that was included with the tote. It could be used as a cover, but it's not very practical. You need to disassemble and pack it properly. Use the tool bag for accessories and necessary tools and you will be much happier!
