Review on Bilstein 24 025508 Heavy Duty Shock Absorber by Matt Bokil

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple but effective

I replaced the shock absorbers on my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with a pair of these. They don't seem overly expensive to buy, but a pair can really hit the wallet. My truck went 233,xxx miles on factory shocks that were totally blown out and (after I removed the hardware) they went in with no issues and made the ride that much smoother and more enjoyable. You never know how effective shocks are until you've spent a whole year riding on burned shocks, rocking like a land yacht, hitting the bumpers at every speed bump and then replacing them, and suddenly the rear end packs like no other. I tried Monroe and Gabrielle. STAY AWAY! They're cheap, sure, but they wear out quickly and then you just get stuck buying more shocks and doing more work. Get them right the first time.
