Bilstein 24 025508 Heavy Duty Shock Absorber Review

Just installed and the rear of my truck is much quieter. There was a hit on the bumps in the back, but it turned out to be my old shock absorbers. I didn't realize how worn my old shocks were until I took them off and replaced them. Overall these Bilstein shocks are a huge improvement and amazing for me and what I was looking for.

My rear shocks were so worn the truck would sag even with 500 pounds on the bed. I hit a speed bump and my whole back just bounced off. until I bought these bad boys! very satisfied. It was easy to install but be aware you will need to jack up the truck a bit to install properly.

Probably the best replacement for stock Dodge shocks. Better ride, balance and control than Original Equipment shock absorbers. Should last longer, which is a standard complaint about the Dodge Ram. It is best to replace all four qualitatively, everything that is cheaper and the driving characteristics suffer as a result. Ram trucks have EAT tires without them.

Finally worn out shock absorbers replaced with Ram 07. I looked at different shock brands because I'm not a big fan of Bilstein shocks, but I'm glad I went with them. Installation was easy and the truck runs much smoother now. To be honest, replacing a worn shock absorber with a new shock absorber will make a difference. I just hope these Bilsteins last longer than most given their cost.

I replaced the shock absorbers on my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with a pair of these. They don't seem overly expensive to buy, but a pair can really hit the wallet. For other car maintenance enthusiasts interested in saving big bucks by replacing the shock absorbers themselves rather than buying them yourself, this job is for the rear axle easy (provided there are no rusty or stripped nuts/bolts) and requires no lifting of vehicle or removal of tires.
