After spending many hours learning how to use it, my own experience is that miniaturization has become overused to the point where it has become difficult to use. If you need to convert cassette tapes to MP3 files and need high fidelity, this might not be the best choice. There are services that perform such transports on larger and more stable devices. If fidelity is not critical, the device works quite well. One final caveat: there are several control buttons on the front of the device that control playback, recording, and other functions. It is almost impossible to read the characters on these keys. I put a dab of white nail polish on the REGISTER button so I can find it easily.
