This brake hose will fit our 1996 Jeep but comes with completely useless washers. Don't worry, just throw them away and buy good quality washers from your local auto parts store. The included washers are so thin and fragile that they will not seal no matter how much torque you apply to the banjo bolt. .With decent sealing washers almost 3 times thicker, the seal was complete and I was able to bleed the system with no leaks. Decent shims are only $1 and would not allow more brake fluid as I had to disassemble them a second time to replace the 'new' shims that came with the hose. I've done a lot of these repairs, I should have known better when I saw the washers that came with them. My mistake! If the washing machines were decent it would be 5 stars plus. But fooling them and taking them apart again to put in real washers results in 3 stars. With a project this messy, who wants to do it twice in the same car in the same hour?
