Products arrived exactly as described. I don't know whether it was the filter or the housing but I did need to use a filter wrench to get the housing tight enough not to leak (the housing says "hand tighten only"). Besides that, the water comes out clear and tastes great. I haven't conducted a water test yet to prove any results, but I am excited to have ALL of my house have filtered water.
