I tested the lock with both keys when it arrived and it worked perfectly. I then attached it to my gear and left everything inside to keep out the weather. Three weeks later, the lock would not open - it stuck and would not budge. I used both keys but nothing. So I had to cut the lock (the picture shows a cut lock. I had to cut it very close to where the rod enters the lock). I'm glad it happened at home where I have a portable cutter wheel and not while traveling. Maybe they sent me a broken lock but I'm changing to a regular padlock.
