An annoying feature - the water temperature always starts in degrees Celsius. I haven't read where it's possible to change this feature. This tester is a good tool, but it doesn't help you find out if the water is safe when in doubt. There may still be bacteria and other pollutants in the water. This "Digital Aid" tester is a great tool to check the efficiency of your reverse osmosis system. Readings from this tester for my city water.238>City water313>Soft water. This reading is likely dependent on when the last regeneration occurred. 9-11> This is with a 15.5 year old Watts Premium RO installation. Installed October 2001. Simply amazing! This tester eliminates the need to replace the membrane or not. If you have a reverse osmosis system, simply flush the tester's probe with this water, fairly close to distilled water if you don't have it on hand.
