Review on 🚗 Enhance Vehicle Performance with KYB SM5184 - Strut Mount by Dennis Goozmer

I decided to ignore the bad reviews about these mounts for my '96 4Runner but took the risk as I have bought products from KYB (USA) in the past. The past has come and gone with KYB as these strut mounts are now made in China and POORLY designed. I only gave it two stars because the rubber bushing was the only part that looked decent. First, the three nuts holding the bolts are useless as I couldn't find a 15.5/15.25/15.75mm wrench or dared to ask someone if they make them. The default wouldn't work either if I didn't use the adjustable one. The threads on the bolts must have been hand tapped because I couldn't fit any of the unknown size nuts on them. Glad I checked the fitment before installing it on my coilovers. Shame on you KYB for allowing your trademark to be used on such poorly designed parts. NOT RECOMMENDED.
