. I bought this tool because of the features. The houndstooth adapter fitted and I was able to keep the tension as intended without any problems. However, there was one point that wasn't obvious, the belt-side upper motor mount would get in the way. While suitable for its intended purpose, it was of no use in my application without removing the motor mount. This step wasn't in my repair guide so I didn't do it and therefore couldn't use the tool. I finally searched YouTube and found a video of someone using a couple of wrenches together to basically create this tool at just the right angle so as not to remove the top motor mount. So it did a great job, but I ended up not using it. I'll keep it because it's still useful. Hope for another car or application.
